Homeschool Macro Photography Contest

photocontestPhotography is a subject near and dear to my heart, my mom is a photographer, I was a portrait photographer for a while. The Winter 2014 Homeschool Photography Contest was such a success that we have decided to accept the sponsor’s generous offer to host a second contest, this one centering on Macro Photography.

The prizes are great too – be sure to get your entries in!

First place: 11×14 gallery wrapped canvas print of the winning image
First runner up: $25 Amazon gift card
Second runner up: $15 Amazon gift card

Be sure to read Candy Richey’s article, Teaching Photography to Children, and anyone else and the rules for the contest, available to read in the Spring issue of Learning Tangent.

One thing that wasn’t listed in the Spring issue – the contest is only open to legal residents of the United States.

Please open the entry form and submit it with your child’s Entry-Formentry. The form can be printed, filled out and scanned. You can also take a picture of it all filled out with the appropriate information. This part is really important, and ensures that we have all the proper permissions to use the image. If the form isn’t filled out, we cannot accept your child’s entry.

When you’re ready, email the form and images to info @learningtangent.com before midnight on May 15th.
